Several types of antennas are available for the Subsurface Interface Radar (SIR) type of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems. The defining characteristic of these antennas is their operating frequency. The higher the antenna's operating frequency, the smaller the antenna's size and pulse loop, the greater the data resolution, and the shallower the depth-of-penetration. An 80 MHz antenna is the practical minimum frequency while 1500 MHz is the practical maximum. We offer them in either 200, 270, 400, 500 or 1500 Mhz. |
